About the Role
We’re seeking a results-driven Delegate Sales Manager to lead and grow our delegate sales team across a portfolio of high-profile conferences and events. You’ll be responsible for driving delegate revenue, managing team performance, and shaping sales strategy to hit ambitious attendance targets.
This is a hands-on sales leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a performance-driven environment and is passionate about connecting industry leaders with transformative event experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of delegate sales executives
Drive delegate registration and revenue growth across multiple events
Develop and execute sales strategies for new and existing events
Monitor and report on daily/weekly/monthly performance metrics
Set and manage sales targets and KPIs for team members
Work closely with marketing and production to align messaging, delegate profiles, and campaign timing
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, speakers, and past delegates
Personally drive senior-level ticket sales (VIPs, group bookings, etc.) where required
Ensure CRM systems is used accurately and consistently
Recruit and onboard new sales team members as needed
About You
2–5+ years experience in delegate team manager and sales, preferably in B2B conferences or exhibitions
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent phone and email communication abilities
Commercially minded with a hunter mentality
Highly organised, KPI-focused, and thrives under pressure
Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
Positive attitude, proactive, and solutions-focused
Comfortable working in a high-performance, commission-driven culture
