We are Aiden Darling Harbour, one of Sydney’s most unique, boutique, compact hotels, opened in January 2022. We’re a hotel designed for travellers by travellers, run by a small team of individuals who love to travel, talk and share their worldly experiences with our worldly guests.
At the 2023 HM Awards, we scooped up Highly Commended for Best Boutique Hotel in Australia thanks to all our team members.

We operate with a small business mindset but big ideas. Our team is a tight-knit, supportive unit of hands-on hosts who wear different hats throughout a shift, from checking in guests and sharing local recommendations, to pouring them a wine and taking their coffee order.

Your job will be to…

Greet all guests on their arrival in our small but stylish open plan lobby/ cafe/ lounge

Hybrid Operation of both Front Office & Food and Beverage

Assist guests with check-in and check-outs either by the self-serve kiosk or reception desk

Serve food and drinks at the Wayfarer's Cafe & Bar

Using your great guest service skills and food & wine knowledge, you will take orders, serve dishes and look after our guests as they enjoy their dining experience, either for breakfast or our lunch and dinner service period.

Address guest concerns or special requests with a positive and solutions-oriented approach.

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience.

Act as a host/ concierge for all our guests sharing your favourite “must see” spots and restaurants in Sydney and the surrounding Pyrmont area

Handle telephone and email reservations and all general guest inquiries

Work closely with a small team of guest service professionals to ensure our guests enjoy their stay to the fullest

Do you have…

Experience in reception and /or F&B and guest services

Great attention to detail

Friendly, welcoming and guest focused attitude
