About the role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Wills and Estates Paralegal to join and support our expert team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and leading Succession Law practice. The position will involve a range work across Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Estate Litigation matters.

The key duties & responsibilities include:

Working closely with solicitors and support staff to ensure seamless file progression

Prepare legal documents (for example, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Grants of Probate, Estate Administration documents etc.)

Draft and edit legal correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, and court documents

Compile document briefs, including producing brief index

Maintain and organise electronic and physical case files

Assist with new client enquiries

Demonstrate excellent communication, both written and verbal, and attention to detail and assist in orderly file management and project planning

Provide day-to-day administrative support, including diary management and deadline tracking

Experience and qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Wills and Estates Paralegal

Strong drafting skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Excellent communication and client liaison skills

Positive/enthusiastic approach and must show initiative
