About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join the team at Classy Car's workshop in Kedron, QLD. As a full-time Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are running at their best and keeping our customers satisfied.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues using specialised equipment and tools
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and wheel alignments
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts, components, and systems as required
• Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
• Maintaining detailed records of work performed and parts used
• Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations within the workshop

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Mechanic in a commercial workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent dexterity and technical aptitude
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
