Diesel Mechanic – Civil Machinery

Location: Brisbane & Surrounds (yard at Greenbank)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 5:00pm
Weekends Off!

Our client is a respected Brisbane-based civil construction company with a strong reputation for looking after their people. They’re growing steadily and are now seeking a reliable, hands-on Diesel Mechanic to service and maintain their fleet of civil machinery and vehicles.

If you enjoy early starts, working with good people, and keeping a well-run fleet in top condition this is a role where your work will be truly appreciated.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Routine servicing and maintenance of civil plant and machinery (excavators, trucks, tippers, etc.)

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults

Completing inspections, reports, and compliance paperwork

Performing workshop and field-based repairs as needed

Managing preventative maintenance schedules

Keeping workshop tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe, clean condition

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Experience working on civil construction machinery (advantageous)

Current driver’s licence (HR licence is a MUST HC is preferred)

Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability

Can work independently and as part of a small team

Honest, punctual, and takes pride in their work

Someone who wants long-term, steady work with a solid crew
