The Opportunity

An experienced Project Lead is sought to champion individual modular building projects from concept through to delivery. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of each home or multi-unit development, liaising directly with clients and working alongside in-house architectural and construction teams to ensure design intent is preserved throughout the build process. You will manage one project at a time, allowing for a focused, high-quality delivery approach.

Role Overview - What You'll Be Doing

As a Project Lead, you will:

• Be the primary liaison between the client and the project team across all phases of the project
• Guide the project from concept design through approvals, into manufacturing, and onto site installation
• Collaborate with in-house architects, engineers, planners, and the factory-based construction team to translate design into built form
• Lead design reviews, maintain design integrity, and ensure alignment with the client's vision, budget, and timelines
• Coordinate stakeholder inputs such as town planners, certifiers, and consultants
• Manage regulatory compliance
• Monitor program milestones, identify risks early, and work with the delivery team to resolve buildability challenges
• Ensure integration of off-site manufacturing with on-site installation logistics

Key Responsibilities

• Client Vision & Design: Champion the client brief and ensure the design remains aligned with project goals
• Design Coordination: Lead internal design team reviews, approvals, and consultant coordination
• Construction Interface: Collaborate closely with factory and site teams to preserve design intent through manufacturing and installation
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with certifiers, town planners, consultants, and local authorities
• Timeline & Budget Awareness: Maintain awareness of program and cost objectives, working in tandem with the construction team
• Communication: Keep all internal and external stakeholders informed, engaged, and aligned

You'll Be a Strong Fit If You Have:

• A background in architecture, design management, or project coordination with 5+ years' experience in residential or modular construction
• Experience delivering bespoke or architecturally designed projects
• Strong understanding of Queensland planning and certification frameworks
• A practical mindset and proven ability to bridge design and construction
• Excellent communication skills and confidence managing clients, consultants, and internal teams
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of one project at a time
• Familiarity with modular or off-site construction (highly desirable)
