The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely bank reconciliations across a high volume of accounts, along with credit card and accounts payable clearing account processes. This is a detail-oriented role where accuracy, problem-solving, and strong communication are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple business units
• Investigate and resolve unreconciled items and transaction discrepancies
• Reconcile credit card transactions and manage associated processes
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable clearing accounts (e.g., Telstra, BP)
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reconciliation processes
• Support adherence to internal controls and accounting policy compliance

About You

• 2–5+ years’ experience in a similar finance role
• Proven expertise in high-volume bank reconciliations
• Proficiency in ERP systems and strong Excel skills
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Positive, proactive mindset and a team-first attitude
