Qualifications & experience

• Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education
• Previous experience in a leadership role in a child care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards
• Current First Aid, CPR & Working With Children Check
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team

Tasks & responsibilities

• Overseeing the day to day operations of our Occasional Care Service, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both children and families
• Supervise and support a team of qualified child care educators
• Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate experiences
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children within the Service
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages growth and development
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
• Plan, implement and evaluate each child's development
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory standards
