ABOUT YOU

You will have experience running a kitchen within an aged care or hospitality venue which will ensure you feel comfortable stepping in to manage all facets of Food Services. You will have the ability to lead the day-to-day production with the assistance of kitchen hands and accept responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Working within an Aged Care or Hospitality facility, ensuring that food and beverage is served to a high standard for the client, and that it meets quality standards.

Ensure that meals and beverages comply with dietary guidelines and regulations and accommodate residents' individual dietary restrictions and preferences.

Maintain high standards of food & beverage and presentation and regularly inspect food and beverage to ensure freshness and suitability for consumption.

Supervise staff and ensure that they follow food and safety protocols, and hygiene standards.

Be flexible and adaptable to accommodate changing dietary requirements and customer feedback.

Engage with clients to gather feedback on meals, preferences, and dietary needs, and adjust menus as necessary to improve satisfaction and overall well-being.

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and other relevant legislation governing food service in aged care facilities.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

Minimum of Food Handlers Certificate (NSW Food Authority)

Responsible Service of Alcohol (NSW)

Current National Employment Police Check

Current Flu and Covid Vaccinations as per state government requirements (if working in an Aged Care Facility)

Drivers licence and reliable car an advantage
