Bowral Private Chef is growing, and we’re on the lookout for passionate casual chefs to assist in our kitchen with meal preparation, function catering, and meal deliveries.

We specialise in high-quality, seasonal, chef-prepared food for private clients, events, and families throughout the Southern Highlands. Our kitchen is a busy, creative and supportive space—perfect for chefs who take pride in good food and good teamwork.

What We’re Looking For:

Experienced cooks or chefs (commercial kitchen experience preferred)

A keen eye for detail and quality

Able to work independently or as part of a team

Punctual, clean, and organised

Passionate about fresh, seasonal produce

Availability:
We’re currently looking to fill the following shifts (flexible):

Morning / Day Shifts: 7:00am – 3:00pm

Afternoon / Evening Shifts: 3:00pm – 9:00pm

Days: Sunday to Thursday

What You’ll Be Doing:

Prepping and portioning meals for delivery

Assisting with event/function food prep

Following recipes and plating standards

Supporting the head chef with daily tasks

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook

Proven experience in the food industry, showcasing your ability to innovate and develop new dishes.

Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with clients and team members.

Strong attention to detail, ensuring each client's unique needs are met and exceeded.

A passion for food, with a keen eye for quality and presentation.

Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary industry.
