About the Opportunity
Join a passionate Information Management team that's at the heart of keeping our systems secure, stable and running smoothly. This role is all about shaping and supporting the technology that helps the City of Adelaide deliver essential services.

As our Cloud Services Engineer, you'll take the lead on managing and maintaining our mix of Cloud and On-Premise infrastructure, making sure it's reliable, high-performing, and secure. From implementing new solutions to fine-tuning existing systems, you'll be working hands-on with technology while keeping cybersecurity front and centre.

In this role, you'll see yourself:

• Designing and managing modern, integrated cloud and on-prem environments
  Contributing to strategic roadmaps and evaluating new tech that supports smarter ways of working
• Collaborating with a range of business and tech stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions
  Ensuring our infrastructure aligns with best-practice cybersecurity frameworks like the ACSC Essential 8
• Helping drive compliance across PCI-DSS, CIS Benchmarks, and internal audit standards
  Sharing knowledge with the team and mentoring others in new tools, systems and ways of thinking

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:

• Demonstrable experience in managing and maintaining complex public cloud infrastructure such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience in supporting complex networks, servers, and specialised software in a large scale computing environment.
• Ability to apply analytical and technical skills to develop a thorough understanding of a complex infrastructure environment and the work processes associated with operational management.
• Proven ability to build positive relationships and consult, negotiate and communicate with all levels of management and staff, government agencies, stakeholders and the community, both verbally and in writing
