We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Service Manager to lead our Australian service operations. If you thrive on operational efficiency, building great teams, and delivering world-class customer service – we want to hear from you!
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager – Installation and Service, you will have responsibility for leading and growing our national service function. This is fast paced and hands on, where you'll take charge of daily operations while driving strategic improvements to deliver consistent, year-round service and customer satisfaction. This will require regular inter-state travel and a willingness to roll your sleeves up to service, install and relocate fans alongside the service technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Lead by example working alongside the service team across Australia.
Deliver quality service outcomes and exceed customer expectations.
Manage seasonal peaks by developing a sustainable 12-month service model.
Oversee rostering, leave approvals, and verification of timesheets.
Ensure depots and equipment are maintained to high safety and operational standards.
Support customers during frost season with technical guidance and service excellence.
Work closely with product development and FrostSmart® teams to support new product launches and technical integration.
Drive a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing across all service operations.
What We’re Looking For
Experienced automotive engineer - hands on understanding of machinery, servicing and diagnostics (diesel mechanic would be an advantage but not essential)
You will need to be physically fit as you will be working alongside the team to get the job done. This role extends beyond traditional desk-based responsibilities.
Proven people management experience - 3-5 years in field operations, ideally in agricultural, horticulture or mechanical environments
Customer-focused mindset – a proactive problem solver and clear communicator.
