About the role

Make a real difference in the recovery journey of our people.

We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Injury Management Coordinator to join our team at the Public Transport Authority (PTA). This key role acts as the central point of contact for a portfolio of low to medium-risk workers' compensation claims—providing vital support to injured employees and helping them return to work safely, confidently, and in line with legislative requirements.

This is a people-focused role where your ability to build trust, coordinate care, and manage detail will be valued every day. You will:

Coordinate injury management activities and support timely return-to-work outcomes

Liaise with medical and rehabilitation providers to tailor practical, effective return-to-work plans

Provide advice to managers and supervisors on policy, procedure, and compliance

Maintain accurate case notes, analyse data, and contribute to system improvements

Build strong, supportive relationships across internal teams and external partners

Flexibility is key, as you may also assist with broader injury management functions as needed.

About You!

You’re a natural communicator who’s confident navigating sensitive conversations and supporting people through complex situations. You bring:

Experience managing workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs aligned with WA’s Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023

The ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders with empathy and professionalism

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, especially in injury management cases

Excellent organisation and time management, with confidence using digital case management and document systems

If you’re passionate about injury management and ready to step into a meaningful, people-first role — we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and help shape the recovery journey.
