The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for end-to-end receivables management, including invoicing, debtor follow-up, receipting, and reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate client invoices in line with agreements
  • Monitor and manage debtor accounts, including follow-ups and payment arrangements
  • Reconcile incoming payments and manage credit control using an ERP system
  • Maintain the AR inbox and invoice request portal
  • Perform receipting, match payments, and support month-end processes
  • Assist with audits and reporting as required

About You

  • 2–5+ years' experience in accounts receivable or a similar role
  • Proficient in ERP systems and confident with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and detail-focused
  • Self-starter with a team-oriented approach and a positive attitude
