For our Support Office located at Sydney International Airport, we are searching for a Talent Acquisition Specialist under a Max Term Full Time Parental Leave Contract anticipated to end on October 2026.

Your new job includes:

As Talent Acquisition Specialist you will play a pivotal role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent for positions across Heinemann Oceania. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers, brand partners, and People and Culture Team to understand staffing needs and deliver effective recruitment strategies that align with Heinemann Oceania’s business goals. Your focus will be on identifying candidates who embody Heinemann’s Guiding Principles and carry out recruitment activities in line with the Talent Acquisition and broader People & Culture strategies.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Lead in diverse aspects of recruitment across the business, in both corporate office environment and our retail environment.

Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and ad hoc requirements.

Advertisement of career opportunities both internally and externally.

Assess, screen, and shortlist suitable candidates.

Develop and maintain position descriptions, utilizing a centralized database.

Schedule and conduct interviews by virtual or in-person.

Conduct reference checks for potential employees.

Maintain accurate interviewing and hiring records.

Proactively maintain talent pipelines for future business talent acquisition needs.

Lead recruitment events, such as career fairs, recruitment evenings, and exhibitions.

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to forecast hiring needs.

Drive and raise awareness of the Employee Value Proposition

What you should bring along:

Previous experience in Recruitment or Talent Acquisition

Studying/studied in an HR related field (desirable)

Knowledge of P&C databases and candidate management systems.

Exceptional interpersonal skills – you present yourself well and communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) to a wide variety of stakeholders

You have a high attention to detail and are meticulous in your organisation skills; multi-tasking will be second nature to you.

Have experience utilising Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
