About the role

Expert Dental Care, a leading dental practice in Casula NSW 2170, is seeking an experienced part-time Dental Receptionist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, managing appointment scheduling, and supporting the overall operations of our thriving dental practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments efficiently

Handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic medical charts

Assisting with billing, payment processing, and insurance claims

Ordering and managing dental supplies and office stationery

Providing general administrative support to the dental team

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients of all ages

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in using dental practice management software and general office software (e.g. Microsoft Office)

A friendly, calm, and professional demeanour, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance billing procedures would be highly advantageous
