Your New Role
You'll settle into your new role reporting to one of Perth's top performing CFO's and support a seasoned management team who have been outperforming with record results, an impeccable safety record, and enviable tenure. You'll join this dream team as its finance manager, reporting directly to the CFO, peer to the Tax & FP&A team leaders, and leading a team of 5 including multiple qualified CA/CPA's and the small transactional team covering accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll for 300 staff. Whilst the operations are dialled in, the finance transformation program has just kicked off with the goal of automation, reducing closing cycle times considerably, increasing accuracy whilst decreasing manual work. You will also add to the positive culture of the team with your energy, enthusiasm, mentorship, and tech savvy know how.

Your Profile
This appointment will be yours if you are a proven leader with examples of using technology to automate and drive process improvement for reporting. You have managed qualified accountants, have exceptional systems skills, have a track record of improving finance functions, including reducing time to close, and producing timely + accurate reporting, allowing those around you to have faith in the numbers for further analysis. You are at your best when the trial balance aligns, the numbers are right, and you're ahead of the deadline. You also love seeing your team succeed with you as part of team.

Your Skills/Experience
Any industry background is considered - this is a mature business, operations are dialled in, so you can learn the industry on the job. What you will need to bring is big company experience, ideally multinational company, where you send the reporting both to local management and further consolidation up the chain. You are up to date on your CA or CPA, handy with IFRS standards, and Australia Compliance requirements.
