VeganicSKN, Australia’s leading manufacturer of 100% mineral sunscreen, is seeking an experienced In-House Legal Counsel to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is ready to take ownership of legal matters across the group.

About the Role

You will manage a wide range of legal responsibilities across VeganicSKN and our related companies. This includes preparing and filing judicial review applications, engaging with regulators, supporting internal compliance processes, and handling minor litigation and tribunal matters.

We are a research-driven organisation, and the successful candidate will be expected to lead investigations into legal questions using our internal case law tools and databases. This is a dynamic role offering scope to shape the legal strategy across multiple entities.

Key Requirements

Must hold a current practising certificate in Queensland.

Proven ability to work independently and manage legal matters without supervision.

Strong legal research skills and a methodical approach—we value deep engagement with case law and regulatory context before forming views.

Experience in lower courts (e.g. Magistrates Court) or consumer tribunals (e.g. QCAT) is an advantage.

Litigation or public law experience (e.g. judicial review) is highly regarded.

Desirable Attributes

Willingness to work autonomously and put in the time using our legal research tools.

Comfortable working across multiple entities and adapting to new legal challenges.
