Jay Brothers Group provides vehicle detailing and thorough cleaning services throughout Australia. Our company has three specialised divisions: Final Car Care, Megashine Car Detailing, and FCC Property Services. We offer a wide range of services that meet both automotive care and property maintenance needs. We are currently looking to employ a Junior Accountant and are seeking a motivated candidate with demonstrated experience who can meet the following criteria:

Possession of a postgraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.

Demonstrated understanding of core accounting principles and compliance with Australian financial regulations.

Minimum of one year’s experience working as an Accountant, preferably within the automotive sector, particularly in car detailing and maintenance services.

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Strong organisational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities will include:

Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and internal company policies.

Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends and deliver insights that inform strategic decisions.

Collaborate with management to prepare budgets and forecasts, supporting proactive planning, effective cash flow management, and optimal resource allocation.

Tasks will include:

Oversee daily financial transactions, ensuring precise record-keeping and structured data management

Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports to company directors as required

Support budgeting and forecasting activities, contributing to evaluations of the company’s financial health

Assist with month-end, BAS, and year-end closing processes

Monitor expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for revenue enhancement

Evaluate the financial feasibility of new initiatives and provide guidance through business growth and expansion
