Our leading Insurance client is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract based in the Sydney CBD. This role offers a flexible hybrid arrangement, with 10 in-office days per month.

As the Senior Engineer, you will work in a React and Node.js environment in a crucial program with our premium insurance client.

The Senior Engineer must possess core skills which include, GitHub, Node.js, React, AWS (preferable), Typescript for Microservices and Financial services experience.

Experience required:

• Full stack experience in, GitHub, Node.js, React, AWS and Typescript for Microservices.
• 5-8 Years as a Full stack developer (Financial Services experience mandatory).
• Experience building and maintaining customer-facing digital products, with a strong focus on performance, usability, and scalability.
• Previous experience working on customer-facing applications or quote-and-buy flows
• A passion for working with modern technologies and keeping up to date with current engineering practices.
