About the Role
As a Chef at Maple Lane Café, you will play a key role in daily kitchen operations, contributing to menu development, maintaining high food quality, and ensuring smooth service. You will work alongside a small, friendly team in a supportive and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with our menu

Oversee kitchen operations and ensure compliance with food safety standards

Maintain stock control and assist with ordering ingredients

Train and supervise junior kitchen staff where required

Contribute to menu innovation and seasonal updates

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef in a fast-paced kitchen

Certificate IV in Kitchen Management (or equivalent)

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Passion for food and a positive attitude
