The Role

We are looking for a passionate, hands on and driven Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team on a full-time basis and contribute to the overall success of the Food and Beverage Department.

The ideal candidate should have previous well-rounded experience across all facets of hotel F&B operations, including in-room dining, restaurants, bar and events. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, your key roles and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;

Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in ensuring smooth operation of all areas of the hotels bar, dining, and events on a day-to-day basis

Be a hands-on leader, proactively guiding and motivating our diverse team during service, monitoring to ensure all areas perform efficiently and the guest experience is memorable

Coordinating the team whilst monitoring labour costs, and implement training and upskilling initiatives to optimise team performance

Assist, on occasion, with various administrative tasks such as stock control, menu development, ordering and rostering

Implement and maintain policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout the department to ensure compliance of all health, safety and cleanliness regulations

Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders, internally and externally

About You

To excel in the role, you should ideally have;

Minimum 2 years in a similar supervisory or assistant manager role, ideally within hotels

A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations

Outstanding communication, time management and attention to detail

Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and create a positive team culture

Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including early morning, late nights, weekends and public holidays
