Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, Seek the experience of two Senior Cloud Project Managers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex Cloud project or program activities with Cloud providers.
• Adapt to changing project circumstances and adjust plans accordingly, while still proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
• Analyse complex information, identify potential risks and issues, and develop effective solutions and contingency plans.
• Lead and manage project teams, delegate tasks, and mentor team members to ensure risks and issues are effectively identified and addressed.
• Evaluate information and data to make informed decisions and to anticipate potential issues and risks before they arise.
• Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of TS cloud program activities, ensuring that requirements, project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Developing and managing program plans, including project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
• Managing their workstreams to ensure that project goals are achieved in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, including executive sponsors, project sponsors, and project team members, to ensure that all parties are informed of project status, risks, and issues.

Experience:

• Professional certification or training in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams, delegating tasks and mentoring team members to ensure risks and issues are effectively identified and addressed.
• Experience in leading/managing at least one of the following streams of work; - Cloud Architecture (services, landing zones) - Cloud Program Management (cross functional cloud transformation)
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a delivery lead role.
• Comprehensive understanding of Australian government information security policies, guidelines, and standards, including ISM and PSPF.
