About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Service Technician / Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated service team in Esperance. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of essential broadacre farming machinery, including combine harvesters, high-horsepower tractors, and self-propelled sprayers. You'll play a key part in keeping our customers' equipment running efficiently, especially during critical seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on a range of agricultural machinery.

Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative servicing in both workshop and field settings.

Conduct pre-delivery inspections and setup for new machinery.

Work collaboratively within the service team and communicate effectively with customers.

Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Adhere to workplace health and safety standards.

Essential Requirements:

Relevant Australian-recognised trade qualification (e.g., Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Mobile Plant Technology, Agricultural Mechanical Technology).

Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment, including complex hydraulic and electrical systems.

Valid manual C Class Australian driver's licence (or higher).

A positive, proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred Requirements (Highly Regarded):

Previous experience specifically with agricultural machinery (tractors, harvesters, sprayers).

Field service experience.

Experience with electronic diagnostic tools.
