The vacancy is for a senior or intermediate level Accountant with 2 or more years experience within public practice accounting in Australia.

The vacancy:

Prepare financial statements and income tax returns

Manage client portfolio, run meetings, and maintain workflow (Senior level)

Perform advisory services & tax consulting

Tax Consulting (Senior level)

Prepare and manage any other compliance obligations ie BAS, payroll tax, SMSF's etc

Develop a rapport with clients & maintain and build on the relationship

Train and mentor other Accountants, including reviewing work (Senior level)

Companies, trusts and partnerships

Build rapport with clients

To apply:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field, plus CA/CPA qualification (or actively pursuing)

Have 2 years or more experience within a public practice

Primary production experience a bonus but not essential

Strong tax knowledge

Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

Experience with MYOB and/or Xero

A genuine desire to grow with an evolving accounting firm

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

An approachable, friendly disposition

Proven ability to meet deadlines

A strong attention to detail

Salary between $80,000 to $115,000 + Super
