Our client is a city based chartered accounting practice focused on providing tax, compliance and strategy advice across a broad range of corporate businesses. Further, the position is a starting point for assisting in forensic accounting in support of legal processes.

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Tax Accountant to join this forward-thinking team and work with clients ranging from medium scale private businesses to large international enterprises. The range of clients and breadth of services creates a platform for your professional development.

The Senior Tax Accountant will report to a supportive Manager and have responsibility for direct day-to-day interaction with clients.

Success in this role will be underpinned by;

Chartered or CPA qualifications

A minimum four years experience in an Australian professional tax and accounting practice

Competence in Division 7a

Experience in assisting with tax strategies and planning

An understanding of SMSF interaction with tax planning

Confidence in preparation of financial statements and tax returns for multi-entity groups

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
