That’s why we need a talented Account Manager to join our Sydney team.

As a key member of our account teams, you will manage day to day client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and growth for our clients. You'll serve as the key connector between Sefiani and its clients,contributing to the development and execution of strategic and creative integrated campaigns.

Main responsibilities:

Propel client programs forward with a focus on executing better and faster strategies. Coordinate integrated comms programs that stand out and make an impact.

Develop communications programs that deliver results across channels. Spot new opportunities and take action

Mentor junior team members by setting clear expectations and using their strengths to achieve goals.

Be the team's go-to for media and influencer relations. Build strong connections in fashion, lifestyle, and dining, and keep those relationships thriving.

Keep an eye on trends in media, reporting, and social media. Proactively seek knowledge that keeps our strategies fresh and innovative.

Dive into detailed research and produce content with top-notch grammar and punctuation. Brainstorm and develop news angles to keep the story flow exciting and relevant.

Get involved in campaign creative development and understand the influencer landscape.

Media and Blogger/Influencer Relations:

Build Strong Connections: Regularly engage with key media and influencers to nurture these important relationships. Be the first to recognize potential issues or opportunities for our clients.

Pitch Perfect: Demonstrate excellent media pitching and generate impressive coverage across various channels.

Stay Organised: Keep media/influencer lists and reports accurate and up-to-date. Monitor for any client-relevant news and flag important info.

Innovate Processes: Always look for better ways to handle tasks and streamline procedures, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

The successful applicant will demonstrate they:

Have a growth mindset - an appetite to learn and grow as an individual, as well as mentor and nurture junior talent

Are passionate about the power of media relations, but equally comfortable with the other disciplines in the modern comms toolbox

Exhibit a strong knowledge of news, lifestyle, and relevant trade media, while understanding the potential of value-added collaborations with the media team.

Are collaborative, intellectually curious, flexible

Have a passion for B2B communications and for telling stories that create impact across the entire stakeholder mix
