Work Overview

The COHO Group is looking for an experienced Solids Control Equipment Project Manager to work on approved projects onshore Australia.

Based in the Brisbane CBD and reporting to the GM Drilling Fluids and Solids Control, main tasks can be described as follows:

· Maintain safe, efficient, and reliable solids control operations for multiple onshore customers.

· Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, grow the solids control equipment business, implement standard work, and manage risk during service delivery.

· Prepare client solids control programs accurately, for successful work scope delivery, on time and on budget.

· Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.

· Develop key equipment KPI’s for customers, analyse, report and present quarterly look backs with clear areas for program quality development and improvement.

· Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.

· Manage stock efficiently and provide direct input on stock management.

· Maintain regular stock checks on all product lines at warehousing locations.

· Demonstrate advanced ability to adequately prepare and track inventory of consumables and equipment spares at the rig site.

· Manage a team of field personnel as required.

· Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance.

· Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.

· Drive HSE and Quality initiatives, observe HSE policies and maintain the required safety training for the operations teams.

Key Requirements

· A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 10 years’ oil and gas background.

· Strong mechanical mindset and troubleshooting abilities.

· Proven ability to manage projects, inventory, personnel, and logistics.

· Excellent communication skills, analytical and computing skills.

· Strong understanding of drilling, completions and intervention operations. Mining experience is an added advantage.
