About the role

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team at Suburban Outdoor Power Equipment in West Hoxton, NSW. This part-time role is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment, assisting customers with their outdoor power equipment needs.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service by accurately identifying and interpreting customer needs

Sourcing and retrieving the correct parts and accessories for customers' outdoor power equipment

Advising customers on the best products to meet their requirements

Maintaining well-organised inventory and stock levels

Receival of stock and repair parts allocation

Assisting with general retail duties, such as cash handling and store presentation

Assembly and predelivery of Finished goods

May be required to assist with delivery of equipment

Undertake product demos and handover with end user ensuring safe operation and maintenance of equipment has been explained

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, ideally within the outdoor power equipment industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers

Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

A passion for providing exceptional customer service

Someone who is willing to make this role there own and take ownership of the showroom and help drive sales growth.
