About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the passionate and dynamic team at Max Maclean & Co Hardware as a Retail Sales Assistant. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting in the day-to-day operations of our retail store in Corowa, NSW. This is a permanent role, offering RDO and Holidays accrued.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers with their shopping needs in a friendly and professional manner

Maintaining an organised and visually appealing store environment

Restocking and replenishing merchandise as required

Handling cash, credit card transactions and processing returns and exchanges

Adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment

Entering inventory, ordering stock, dealing with reps, re stocking and cleaning store displays

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to work well in a team and independently as required

Flexible and adaptable to work a variety of shifts, including Saturday Mornings

A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
