The role

Ideally from a mechanical background, you will support technology and manufacturing teams by resolving issues and identifying improvement opportunities to manufacturing processes

• Complete analysis of supplier material testing results
• Analyse and review production specifications, drawings and other engineering data
• Under direction, work on product and process development
• Review procedures and work instructions and assist with writing documents

About you:

• Tertiary degree level qualifications in an engineering discipline majoring in a mechanical or chemical or similar discipline
• Hold full Australian work rights
• Proficient in technical software including AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Power BI, Power Query, and Microsoft Excel
• Independently plans, designs, develops, and executes projects focused on product and process optimisation
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of rubber processing principles, equipment functionality, and troubleshooting
• Conducts lab-scale trials and successfully scales up to factory-level implementation
• Communicates technical concepts clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders
• Works autonomously, managing priorities and delivering outcomes with minimal supervision
