About the role

As the fitter, you will be involved with the servicing, troubleshooting and rebuilding of pumping systems and water-related pumping and irrigation systems such as centre pivots. You will also liaise with customers to understand their individual issues, provide potential service costs and submit general reports on work completed.

Duties

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues for Pumps , Pivots and Mainlines.

Review and interpret design and installation drawings

Prepare and install new pump systems to relevant industry standards

Prepare service and rectification reports

Assemble and test pump systems both in the workshop and on site

Be instrumental with onsite project installation and commissioning

Skills

Have any local state licence or be able to obtain for QLD if needed

Have a trade background across mechanical fitter sector

Be able to read and interpret designs and existing operational systems

Have a sound verbal and written communication skills

Be able to travel when required for projects

Be able to work autonomously
