About the role

This is an exciting role within the business. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this role is responsible for a wide range of general Fitting and Machining jobs both onsite and in our brand-new Townsville Workshop. Experience with rotating equipment is desirable however if you have a great can-do attitude then we want to hear from you.

Rezitech is looking for a very hands-on person who has a natural drive to get jobs completed.

The key functions for this role are as follows:

• Operate centre lathes
• Operate milling and drilling machines
• Operate surface and bench grinders
• Operate general hand tools (electric & pneumatic)
• Dismantle pumps and equipment (general)
• Clean parts (general)
• Grit, garnet and blast components
• Rebuild components with Belzona
• Apply Belzona coatings
• Assemble pumps and equipment
• General house keeping
• Comply with, and comment to improve, Rezitech OHS policy
• Carry out all onsite work
• Maintain all in-house equipment
• Operate welding equipment (mig & arc)
• Train and direct contractors
• Work with various team members to deliver best service for our clients
• Provide relevant reporting to management
