TEW Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanical Fitter who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in fault-finding, responding to breakdowns, building and restoring critical infrastructure. This role involves service and project work across sectors such as water infrastructure, industrial plants, and government facilities.

We are currently expanding our field service team across South-East Queensland. If you enjoy a balance of large scale projects, reactive maintenance and preventative servicing, with the flexibility to work independently and the support of a capable team, this opportunity may be for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Heavy industry installation and commissioning

Responding to breakdowns, faults, and service calls across industrial and infrastructure sites

Performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on pumps, fans, dampers, and processing equipment

Mechanical and electrical pump system fault finding and diagnostics

Rotating equipment laser alignment

MIG & TIG welding

Maintaining accurate documentation and working safely under TEW’s WHSEQ standards

What We’re Looking For

3+ years experience

Proven experience in reactive maintenance and fault finding in industrial environments

Well developed fitting and machining knowledge and capability

Ability to interpret technical literature and troubleshoot complex systems

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and adapt to varying site conditions

Restricted Electrical License is highly desirable (but not essential)

$43.00 – $52.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
