The Role

A great opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at our Keilor factory. In this role you will lead our production line and play a key role in overseeing operations in order to maintain our product standards and smooth running of our production line. You will also ensure our machinery is well maintained, conducting frequent servicing and upgrades to the lines.

The Tasks

Supervise daily manufacturing operations, including mincing, mixing, forming, wrapping and packing processes.

Troubleshoot break downs, maintain machine parts and ensure the line is fully operational at all times.

Lead and motivate a diverse production team to achieve daily production targets and quality KPIs

Monitor/modify production lines to maintain optimal efficiency and minimise downtime

Ensure compliance with safety, SQF, GMP, and company operating procedures

Coordinate raw material and labour requirements to meet shift targets

Maintain accurate documentation and complete pre-start and in-process checks

Liaise with both the Operations Manager & Quality Manager to ensure smooth operations and high quality products

The Successful Candidate

Strong machine operating and maintaining skills – confident in repairing a possible breakdowns during production

Proven leadership experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment

Ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced, hands-on role

Strong understanding of HACCP or SQF, GMP, and safety compliance

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Strong planning and organisational skills.

Mechanical engineering or machine maintenance experience advantageous

Forklift license advantageous
