We are currently seeking a proactive and dedicated Maintenance Manager to join our friendly team at our Bateman facility.

About the Role

Deliver maintenance services under Facility Manager direction in line with policies, procedures, and schedules.

Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and minor renovations.

Maintain buildings, roofs, plumbing, and equipment (e.g., beds, chairs, hoists, mobility aids).

Perform minor repairs (e.g., painting, window and door rollers, curtain tracks, light bulb replacement).

Clean A/C filters, test call bells, and assist with gardening and reticulation.

Maintain fishponds and other environmental features with internal and external support as needed.

Delegate tasks to Maintenance Cleaning Personnel as appropriate.

Update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in coordination with the Building Manager.

Conduct chemical handling and storage training for housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and catering staff during orientation.

Support continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and repairs

• Preferred - 2 years similar experience.

• Holds a current Trade Licence.

• Current National Police Clearance / NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

• Up to date Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination.
