Centre Manager – Brand New White Gum Valley Early Learning Centre
Are you an experienced and motivated early childhood leader ready to take on a unique and rewarding opportunity? We’re searching for a Centre Manager to lead the launch and growth of our brand new, purpose-built service in White Gum Valley.

About the Opportunity
As the Centre Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the successful launch, licensing, and daily operations of the centre. You’ll be supported every step of the way by our Regional Manager and Operations Support Manager, along with a dedicated Assistant Centre Manager (off the floor) and Educational Leader, ensuring you have the team around you to focus on high-quality leadership and community building.
Who We’re Looking For
We're seeking someone with at least 3 years of Centre Manager experience who is confident, capable, and ready to embrace the exciting challenge of opening a brand-new service. You’ll bring a strong understanding of compliance, a proactive and people-focused approach, and the ability to inspire others through authentic leadership.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end establishment of the White Gum Valley service, including oversight of centre setup, licensing processes, and readiness for opening, ensuring all regulatory and operational requirements are met to a high standard.
- Manage the overall daily operations of the centre, including regulatory compliance, staffing, enrolment processes, and occupancy planning, while fostering a strong and positive workplace culture aligned with the organisation’s values.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of educators and leaders, including mentoring emerging leaders and ensuring a supportive and accountable team environment that prioritises professional growth and excellence in practice.
- Establish and nurture meaningful partnerships with families and the local community, ensuring open communication, trust, and shared commitment to each child’s wellbeing and development.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice, driving quality outcomes through self-assessment, implementation of the National Quality Framework, and ongoing alignment with best practices in early childhood education.
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager and Operations Support Manager, participating in strategic planning, service reviews, and operational initiatives that support long-term sustainability and success of the centre.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Centre Manager or equivalent leadership role within an early learning environment
- Extensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and build high-performing teams, with a focus on mentoring and ongoing professional development
- Strong skills in organisational leadership, regulatory compliance, and effective communication
- Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification
- A clear understanding of child protection responsibilities, including completion of Mandatory Reporter training and a strong commitment to upholding the principles of a Child Safe Organisation
- A professional, proactive, and reflective approach to leadership, with a genuine passion for quality early childhood education and care
