Corporate Catering & Customer Service Assistant

All about your role:

New Farm Deli are seeking dynamic and experienced hospitality professionals in our Catering section. This role will involve providing assistance to the catering manager in executing the daily catering requirements and ensuring effective management in the areas of:

· Daily food production and prep of upcoming catering events.

· Creative presentation of food

· Compliance of food Safety

· Liaising with and providing service excellence to Customer

When not catering, you will greet and provide service to waiting customers, arrange / hand over deliveries and answer catering enquiries.

Job Role - Essential Criteria:

Previous experience in a Catering Attendant role and kitchen and high-volume food preparation skills is essential.

Knife skills for cutting, slicing & portioning and confidence in working around sharp tools such as mandolines or slicers.

Strong ability to cut and portion ingredients efficiently.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP certification is a plus).

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen / front of house.

Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.

Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Flexibility to work early mornings & weekends

Customer service experience

Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English

Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite & POS
