TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Operations Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations of expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam products, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and positive work environment. You’ll be responsible for:

Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and support production staff across both sites at Richlands and Carole Park.

Production Oversight: Coordinate production schedules, manage workflow, and meet delivery deadlines for both locations.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality control for EPS foam products, conducting regular checks to ensure compliance within standards.

Safety Focus: Conduct site safety briefings, enforce proper PPE use, and proactively manage workplace hazards.

Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, analyse production data, and prepare reports for management.

Continuous Improvement: Drive lean manufacturing and identify opportunities to streamline EPS foam production processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with EPS foam or plastics processing

Proven leadership skills, with experience supervising teams across multiple sites

Strong understanding of EPS manufacturing processes and quality control standards

Excellent communication, organisation, and decision-making abilities

Forklift licence

Desirable:

Certificate II in Engineering or related field

Lean Manufacturing certification (Six Sigma Green Belt)

Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies

First Aid and safety certifications
