About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer for a role based on site. This role is offering a 5/2, 4/3 roster FIFO from Perth for a 9 month duration. In this role you will provide support to the Maintenance function to ensure the optimisation and reliability of assets, conducting analysis of reliability problems investigating to deter me the reliability required for the particular situation considering the cost limitations for equipment up/down time, repair/replacement costs, weight, size, and availability of materials/equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive efficient, reliable asset performance

Lead analysis of equipment performance, identifying chronic issues, root causes, an improvement opportunities.

Drive defect elimination processes to reduce equipment downtime and costs.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Provide oversight on failure data, trends, and asset health indicators to recommend proactive actions.

Present reliability reports, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement and Projects

Champion continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and lifecycle costs.

Support asset management decision making for asset upgrades, reliability improvements, and cost reduction.

Lead or facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implement corrective actions.

Lead improvement of reliability analysis digital tools.

Provide expert support to frontline maintenance and operations teams during equipment failures or complex repairs.

Skills & Experience:

Candidates experienced in maximising asset value through strategic operational management and portfolio optimisation, including activities such as financial modelling, forecasting, lifecycle management, and hedging

Mechanical, Electrical or Civils background

Rail experience is highly desired

C class manual drivers licence ( mandatory )
