Your Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for a high standard of patient care to our oncology patients on our Thomas Furlong Ward.
Thomas Furlong is an oncology/haematology and palliative care ward that cares for patients at all stages from diagnosis, to complex treatment and acute admissions as well as end of life.
You will join a dedicated multidisciplinary team providing compassion care and expertise.
The Position

- Caregivers are required to act in accordance with the standards of behaviour outlined in the SJGHC Code of Conduct document.
- Maintain and develop clinical skills in order to care for patients appropriate to level of competence.
- Deliver a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively.
- Adhere to and support hospital policies, procedures and standards.
- Act as the patient's advocate and facilitate the rights of individuals.
- Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care.
- Prioritise workload using resources effectively.
- Provide supervision to Enrolled Nurses, students and PCAs as required.
You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Registered Nurses with minimum 2 years clinical and chemotherapy administration is preferred with Antineoplastic Drug and Administration Course completed.

- Salary: $76,990 to $101,314, plus 12% superannuation
- Full-Time, Part-Time, Casual positions, working across all shifts with hours negotiable
