About the role:

We are currently seeking a creative and professional Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role offers an exciting blend of digital marketing and graphic design responsibilities, contributing directly to a high-performance team environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the broader marketing strategy by collaborating with the team on integrated campaigns and brand activations. This position is based at our Franchise Support Office in Kangaroo Point and will also extend support to our affiliated businesses, The Benson Hotel and Think Commercial.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the Paid Media Calendar across social media and search engine marketing platforms.

Manage annual digital promotional campaigns using Google Ads and Meta Ads.

Support the commercial team with lead generation for franchise store sales.

Drive awareness and engagement for NightOwl store promotions and campaigns through digital advertising.

Create and manage the Owl Club Loyalty Newsletter (Brevo experience highly regarded).

Maintain and update content on NightOwl.com.au and the franchisee website (WordPress with Elementor).

Ensure websites follow current SEO best practices.

Keep content on the NightOwl Owl Club App up to date.

Assist in creating marketing imagery and visual assets.

Support the marketing team with social media content creation.

Produce and present monthly reports.

Stay up to date with digital trends and emerging technologies.

Research and monitor competitor digital activity and broader digital trends.

Advocate for digital updates and improvements to keep the NightOwl brand modern and relevant to target audiences.

To be successful:

2+ years’ experience in paid media (Google & Meta platforms)

Self-starter with strong time management skills

Graphic design experience for flyers and presentations (highly regarded)

Proficient in design tools (Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign)

Interpret briefs and report on campaign progress.

Escalate and resolve digital marketing issues.

Provide regular updates on marketing projects and priorities.

Participate in team meetings and contribute insights.

Collaborate to enhance digital strategies and outcomes.

Support team members to achieve marketing goals.

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Deliver timely and accurate campaign reports.

Offer expert advice on digital marketing tactics.

Attend relevant meetings and marketing activities.
