- Permanent Full-Time 38 hours per week
- Attractive salary ranging from $1,121.45 up to $1,286.40
- 12% Superannuation Contribution.

As a Wastewater Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of wastewater treatment facilities and associated infrastructure. Your main tasks will include:
- Operating and monitoring wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections of equipment and machinery
- Collecting samples and conducting laboratory analysis to assess water quality
- Troubleshooting operational issues and implementing corrective actions when necessary
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times
- Assisting in the development of standard operating procedures for wastewater treatment processes
- Collaborating with team members to achieve operational goals and targets
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A relevant qualification in water or wastewater operations would be advantageous. The ideal candidate would have:
- Certificate III in Asset Management (Waste Management)
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work a part of a team and without supervision.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work under conflicting time pressures.
- The ability to solve problems in relation to the role.
- Ability to work additional hours when required by the authorised delegated officer.
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to carry out mathematical calculations for sewerage records together with proven experience in the maintenance of accurate records.
Ticket, Licences and Certificates:
- Class MR Drivers Licence - (please note, applicants who do not hold this licence may be considered in some instances, however, must have the ability to obtain at their own cost within three months of commencement).
- White Card (General Construction and Induction Card) - please note, you can obtain your White Card during the application process if you do not hold a White Card.
Immunisations required:
- Ability to provide evidence of vaccination/immunisation for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus. This includes maintaining the currency of these throughout your period of employment.
