Employment Opportunity:
Reporting to the Equipment Manager, you’ll be working across a variety of different onshore and offshore projects from our production facility in Henderson and will complete the following duties:
- Carry out the installation, maintenance, fault finding and repair of electrical equipment across both production facilities
- Interface with Project Managers, Coordinators & offshore RPE’s to provide technical advice, support and functional information for seamless project execution
- Planning, resourcing and procurement of both workshop & offshore electrical equipment
- Provide compliant, fit-for-purpose EX rated electrical equipment and solutions for hazardous area project scopes
- Lead pre & post project equipment inspections and liaise with client third-party inspectors
- Oversee quarterly test & tagging of facility electrical equipment
- You must be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening prior to commencement.
Minimum requirements include:
- Electrical trade qualification (Compulsory)
- 5 + years' experience working as a qualified Electrician
- Construction White Card
- Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) – Currency within 5 years (desired)
- RIIWHS204E Working Safely at Heights or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), familiarity with ERP and CMMS systems (desired)
- Oil & Gas Industry knowledge and experience (desired)
- A National Police Check
- Australian work rights
You must also be available to undertake pre-employment assessments and medical including Drug & Alcohol.
