About:

Hurricane Digital is looking for a new starter to help our local marketing agency with some clerical and finance-related tasks!

In this role, you’ll be key in drafting payroll, generating invoices, and handling some basic XERO functions. You'll work closely with your new team in all departments and assist the company in cataloguing its billing department. Additionally, you will be reaching out to clients with outstanding payments and handling account requests to ensure all accounts are up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor client billing, ensuring accounts are up-to-date.

Handle and resolve client billing inquiries efficiently.

Oversee accounts receivable and payable, maintaining accurate records.

Reconcile monthly business expenses to ensure financial accuracy.

Track outstanding payments and proactively reach out to clients with overdue accounts.

Collaborate with the finance team to optimise and streamline billing processes.

Assist with administrative duties as required to support the team.

Key Requirements:

A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration) is required.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Previous experience in a similar role is preffered.
