Living Edge is currently looking for an enthusiastic Operations Team Leader to join our Sydney based Operations Team!

The Role
The Operations Team Leader will be responsible for the Outbound Logistics Operations teams, including leadership of Operations Coordinators, Project Managers and In House Delivery Teams, while providing operational assistance to the Warehouse Team and 3PL sub-contractors as required.

What you'll bring to the role:

Excellent presentation, communication, and customer care skills.

A strong background in bulky goods transport, logistics and customer communications.

Logistics and daily route planning.

Ability to manage in-house and third-party logistic delivery teams to provide an outstanding customer experience.

A can-do attitude, proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail, ensuring paperwork and logistics documentation is accurate and complete.

Proactive approach to health and safety.

The ability to work under pressure to a schedule.

Great team player.

An interest in design is a plus.

Key responsibilities:

Leadership of delivery and installation teams, ensuring high levels of customer service to our clients.

Liaise with transport providers and internal departments to schedule and monitor deliveries.

Negotiation of rates with third-party logistics providers.

Use of company vehicles in a safe, courteous, professional and appropriate manner.

Communicate with our customers, team and suppliers in a safe, courteous, professional and appropriate manner that lives up to our reputation of excelling our customers' needs and requirements.

Identify trends, delays, or inefficiencies and provide operational insights to inform process improvements and business planning.
