About the Role
Metwide Communications is a well-established company operating across NSW and QLD. We’re currently looking for a motivated Trainee or Junior Technician to join our Sydney team. This is a great opportunity to build your career in electronic security through hands-on learning and real industry exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the installation and servicing of CCTV, access control, alarms, and intercom systems

Support senior technicians on commercial, residential, and government job sites

Learn fault finding, commissioning, and system integration on-the-job

Maintain safety, cleanliness, and professionalism on all worksites

Develop industry knowledge across a wide range of security technologies

What We’re Looking For

Eagerness to learn and build a career in the electronic security industry

Positive attitude, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

Basic understanding of tools, cabling, or electronics (preferred but not required)

Good communication skills and ability to follow instruction

A team player who wants to grow into a qualified technician

Essential Requirements

Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Current Driver’s Licence (P-plates welcome)

White Card (or willing to obtain)

Ability to pass a national police check for security licensing

ACMA Cabling Registration or NSW Security Licence (advantageous, but not essential)
