About the Position

This full-time Functions Coordinator role is ideal for an experienced events professional ready to take ownership of end-to-end function management in a supportive venue setting. With a salary of $80 - 100k depending on experience, you'll get to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining work-life balance - all in a food-and-wine-rich regional hub.

Position Description:

  • Manage the coordination of all functions and events from enquiry to execution

  • Liaise with clients to plan event details, run sheets, and requirements

  • Work closely with kitchen and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery

  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and post-event reports

  • Maintain client relationships and drive repeat business

  • Manage bookings, calendar, and internal communications around events

  • Ensure all events run to budget, compliance, and quality expectations

Position Requirements:

  • Proven experience in events, functions, or hospitality coordination

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and event/venue management systems

  • Friendly, professional, and solutions-focused approach
  • Current RSA essential

  • Availability to work some weekends and evenings when required
