We're seeking a passionate, experienced and highly organised individual to join our front of house team as a Floor Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience on the floor in similar venues, and a minimum of 1 years' experience as a front of house supervisor, head section waiter or similar.

Bar Idda is a Sicilian-inspired restaurant and wine bar in the inner north. We pride ourselves on showcasing a rotating menu of authentic Sicilian recipes, and a small wine list of hand-selected bottles to complement our food offering. With an inside and outside dining space, as well as 2 private dining rooms upstairs, we're a venue with lots of moving parts and plenty of variety to offer throughout the week.

We're looking for a supervisor to join our small FOH team and contribute to the excellent experience we offer our guests, as well as our fantastic team culture of learning and improving together.

The ideal applicant should have experience with:

Running and maintaining a busy section to a high standard of service

Describing and recommending wine to guide guests in their selections

Overseeing a restaurant floor during service, including running breaks, start and finish times

Training staff and finding ways to improve the efficiency of service

Leading shifts, completing end of day revenue reports, and resolving service issues as they occur.

Applicants should have full Australian working rights and be looking for a role with longevity. Formal wine training is highly desirable, but not essential. We provide full on-the-job training and a healthy work-life balance.
