Front of House Supervisor – Bar Nacional

Bar Nacional (aka “Bar Nash”) is a lively Spanish bar in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, serving up breakfast, business lunches, tapas, and all-day good times. We’re a popular spot for corporate catch-ups, daily Happy Hour, group dining and exclusive events – the go-to venue for any occasion.

We’re currently on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our passionate and close-knit team. About the Role:

As FOH Supervisor, you'll play a hands-on role in the day-to-day operations – supervising the team, ensuring smooth service, and supporting training and development. With strong support from senior management, you’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas and grow professionally in a positive and dynamic workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Working alongside the Outlets Operations Manager, you’ll assist with:

Supervising floor and bar service during shifts

Completing end-of-day cash ups and shift reports

Beverage ordering and inventory management

Staff training and coaching

Ensuring venue presentation and service standards are consistently high

Supporting group bookings, functions, and event execution

Leading by example with a positive, hands-on attitude

What We’re Looking For:

Previous supervisory experience in a busy bar or restaurant environment

Strong knowledge of bar and floor operations and procedures

Organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure

A passion for hospitality and a drive to exceed guest expectations

Natural leadership qualities – engaging, motivational, and supportive

Professional and friendly with a good sense of humour

Current RSA essential
